Please be aware that this process is very individual. Each person will experience the work differently. One person may receive all the benefits listed above, another may feel benefits not listed and yet another may experience a few of those mentioned.
Maintenance varies according to each individual's needs and interests. After completing the first ten sessions, many people take a break from the process. After this break there are several alternatives. You can come back for a "tune up" of three sessions. If you experience a new injury you may need four to five sessions. Ongoing maintenance may be needed if you are engaged in a sport or strenuous physical activity that requires extraordinary use of the body.

For performers whose art requires specific repetitive movements that need to be performed succinctly, this technique can be very valuable. Because of the extraordinary demands performing artists make on their bodies it is extremely important that they be capable of maintaining a balanced physicality. Structural Integration can:
- Relieve tension brought on by repetitive motion
- Teach and re-educate the neuromuscular system to perform with less energy wasted
- Help create greater flexibility and a feeling of lightness and fluidity
- Restore natural balance
- Encourage greater self confidence
- Help enhance the process of getting back into shape after an injury, a long lay-off, or returning to your art after any lengthy break.
